Description
With increased recycling of fibers, the average fiber length decreases, leading to reduced drainability. For paper and board manufacturing, enhancing pulp drainability is particularly critical. While retention and drainage aids can improve dewatering performance during the gravity drainage stage, their effectiveness is limited due to negative production impacts caused by fiber flocculation.
Bio-enzymes selectively hydrolyze fine fibers in recycled pulp, increasing the proportion of long fibers and thereby improving the drainability of the pulp.
Mechanism of action
Drainage Enzyme L-Series is a composite enzymatic preparation designed to enhance pulp drainage performance on the wire section, increase operating speed, and reduce steam energy consumption in drying cylinders. This product contains specific surfactants and stabilizers, which selectively hydrolyze fine fibers to improve pulp drainability. By reducing the moisture content of the wet web, it significantly decreases steam consumption during the drying process.
Product Benefits:
Suitable for production lines using ONP, OCC, and other recycled fibers to manufacture corrugated medium, linerboard, white board, etc.
Enhances drainage performance on the wire section, increasing machine speed by 5-20 m/min while reducing wet web moisture content.
Lowers steam consumption in drying cylinders by 2-5%.
Long-term application improves paper formation uniformity.
